Biography:
Eric John Makus graduated from Whitman College in 1984 and the University of Southern California in 1987.
From 1983 to 1984 he served as a special assistant to former United States Representative Thomas S. Foley. His subsequent 20 years of chief executive experience spans the fields of law, publishing and software. He is the author of two reference works, is a patented inventor and was an English instructor in Viet Nam.
Mr. Makus joined Dean Standish Perkins & Associates in 2005 as a law clerk and became a licensed Rule 9 Legal Intern in 2007.
He completed the Supreme Court of the State of Washington's Admission to Practice Rule 6 Law Clerk Program under the supervision of Dean S. Perkins and passed the Washington State Bar Exam in 2009.
