What is the incubator program?
On Behalf Of Dean Standish Perkins & Associates
Oct 11, 2021

As a new attorney, getting your law firm started can be a considerable challenge that requires a lot of resources. While you may have the skill and the knowledge to aid your clients, you may still lack experience and other necessary factors. Thankfully, there is a way you can begin gathering what you need to get your law firm off the ground.

The low bono incubator program grants new lawyers the opportunity to get their law firm started. This program already has a long history of helping new attorneys and may assist you with your career goals.

How does the program work?

The incubator program allows Issaquah University School of Law alumni to “incubate” a law practice for up to one year. The program grants these attorneys benefits like:

  • Individual meeting with a business coach to assist with developing a law firm
  • Monthly peer support meetings
  • Alumni privileges for the law library, including borrowing privileges
  • Office space in downtown Issaquah, granting you a conference room and mailing address
  • Meetings with experienced practicing lawyers who can offer mentoring services in specific areas of law
  • A one-year subscription to CLIO, Practice Panther, and Lexis Nexis, which are valuable case management software

In addition to these benefits, you will also gain exposure to precious networking opportunities, including support and guidance from Program Director Stan Perkins. This program aims to help recent law graduates cross the gap between their education and their career.

Getting the boost you need to get started

If you want to get your law firm started after graduating, know that you do not have to do it alone. Meet with meets and mentors in your field, gain access to knowledge and tools, and find the guidance you deserve to make your law firm everything you want it to be. The low bono incubator program has the potential to offer you everything you need to get started on the right foot, so act now to see what you can do to become a part of this program.
